This is a necessary measure to save our time and yours or to share in the cost of replacing them. 

Banknotes with the following damage may not be accepted by us: 

 ∙ light abrasions

∙ printing, changes in colour are not significant

∙ small tear in the banknote

∙ contamination;

∙ washed;

∙ stained;

∙ there are changes in the structure of the banknote;

∙ small parts of the banknote are missing;

∙ mould, rust;

∙ up to 20% of the banknote is missing;

∙ torn banknote;

∙ banknotes that have burns and are heavily burnt

∙ old-style banknotes (up to and including 1996)
